Bachelor, Master and Erasmus Projects

We are engaged in training the next generation of scientists and routinely welcome undergraduate students from different backgrounds — from physics, chemistry, and biology to nanoscience and pharmacy. The scientific content of the projects spans all the research themes of the group and can also be designed around the interests of the candidate, both in terms of scientific area and number of ECTS. If interested, please contact us at vito.fodera@sund.ku.dk.

Teaching

We also offer a PhD course on methodologies for protein characterization, with an emphasis on stability and self-assembly, run in odd years — course details here (from 2025). A shorter version of the course is also offered as part of the Ulla Summer School in even years.

Open Positions

A PhD position will be announced soon. Please check the job portal of the University of Copenhagen.

Always looking for talented scientists!

We support highly talented young scientists for grant applications, both PhD and Postdoc stipends. If you have strong motivations and are interested in our research, please contact us at vito.fodera@sund.ku.dk. We actively support postdoctoral candidates applying for MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) and EMBO fellowships, offering guidance on the research proposal, hosting arrangements, and the overall application process. If you are interested in applying to either scheme with our group, please get in touch at least three months before the relevant deadline, so we have enough time to develop a strong, well-supported application together.
